PABLO NARANJO

Engineer Director

One of the founders of Poly Structurals, Pablo Naranjo, is a registered Professional Engineer who is also the principle at Engineering Services and Design of SoCal, Inc. Pablo Naranjo is Senior Geotechnical Engineer with over 20 years of experience on geotechnical engineering services including, bridges, leves, mines, earthquake/seismic design, slope stability analysis, temporary excavation support, rock stability, and materials engineering in Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, Mexico and Peru for private developers, government agencies and municipalities.

Geotechnical engineering includes field testing, site investigation, sampling, soil/rock classification, laboratory analysis, engineering analysis, conclusions, recommendations, geotechnical report preparation, document review, construction monitoring and post construction observations. Experience includes a wide range of projects, including rail roads, roads, bridges, channels, levees, commercial and residential developments, refinery, foundation repairs and soil stabilization due settlement and underground and open pit mines.

Lead numerous geotechnical investigations in Southern California, Los Angeles and Orange County and also in Phoenix Arizona. Worked with other offices including Miami, Washington, San Francisco and Phoenix. Maintained high geotechnical quality of deliverables and maintained client care. Maintained geotechnical projects under budget. Have developed business opportunities for new projects. Extensive experience managing site geotechnical experience and laboratory testing. Expensive experience interacting, coordinating and communicating with multidisciplinary team members. Knowledge of construction techniques in California, Arizona, Nevada, Mexico and Peru. Knowledge of seismicity codes of California and Mexico.

KYLE OLSEN

Project Manager

The co-founder of Poly Structurals, Inc. is Kyle Olsen, who serves as a Project Manager in the state of California for URETEK USA, Inc., and is also responsible for outreach and education to local government and engineering firms. Prior to his position in URETEK, he worked in direct relation with a structural polyurethane contractor with various roles, including R&D, Engineering Design and Code Compliance, Safety Officer, and Sales and Operations Trainer. He began Poly Structurals, Inc. to provide a better education and outlook for clients, and to provide the best service possible for the experience he harnesses.
Kyle has two Associate’s of the Arts Degrees, one with an emphasis on Arts and Humanities and another with an emphasis on Sociology and Behavioral Studies. He also has an Associates of the Sciences Degree with an emphasis on Math and Sciences, as well as a CA Certificate of Completion for Collegiate General Education. He is certified through MacLean Dixie in Piling Foundation Systems, and holds his OSHA 500 certificate in good standing.
Kyle is an active standing member (as a vendor) for the APWA, MSA, and CalGeo.
Kyle’s interests have been a lifelong commitment to the martial arts, and using that dedication to give back to the community, hosting monthly free seminars for self-defense for women, victims of DV, and divertive activities for teenagers. He also carries a passion for writing, having written four books and actively working on a series. Kyle and his family resides in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
